Who is the Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative?The Facilitating Racial Equity Collaborative (FREC) is a loose collective of organizations committed to overcoming racism in Minnesota. We organized the Overcoming Racism: Why IS It So Hard? conference November 6-7, 2009 and the second annual Overcoming Racism conference, Recognizing and Challenging the Legacies That Oppress Us, October 29 & 30, 2010.
You or your organization can be part of this work! Email us about your interest, or join us at the next monthly meeting. We meet on the second Friday of each month, 9-11 am at Cherokee Park United Church in St. Paul. Our next meeting is Friday, February 11th.
